What’s excellent about these slippers is the outsole which is suitable for all kinds of surfaces indoors and out on the balcony. Also the down filling makes these the warmest slippers I’ve ever worn. They seem to keep my feet a lot drier than sheepskin booties, which earnings they stay warmer. I must say, though, that i expected more down, a more supportive sole (it’s soft, yes, but just mushy), and I’m not impressed with the very narrow ankle cuff which makes it hard to pull the booties on. It needs to be a lot stretchier. I ordered L (women’s 8-9) and I wear size 9. I’d recommend a size larger. They are nearly too snug. I suppose I won’t know if they are worth the money until I see how long they last.
In winter my feet were always cold! I had some down booties, but they wore out and were kind of bulky. My Acorn booties are form fitting and now my feet are NEVER cold in winter. And my booties are cute! I am 100% satisfied and recommend them to all you other cold-feet women (pretty much all of us!)
